Today, Uriel wants to talk about productivity and how it mixes with or interacts with your creativity.
Sometimes you might think you have blocks or you feel prevented from being as productive as you want to be from a creative perspective.
Uriel’s suggestion is for you to write through your blocks or to paint through your blocks.
He says the only way over this hump is through and that you are fully able to make the most of the time you have.
He encourages you to think about time, productivity and creativity all as elements that are able to stretch and grow to meet your needs.
Just as sometimes it feels you have barely enough time to do something, the inverse can also be true.
You can summon your creativity and your inner strength and power so that your need for creativity is matched by the creativity you have or that emerges.
Creativity isn’t always a given. You are not always going to be ‘in flow’.
But if you treat your inspiration as something you can depend on, you will find that it is a muscle that grows. You will find yourself richly rewarded by your efforts.
You can be productive in your creativity. You can be more productive than you know.
Don’t think of yourself as being at the mercy of inspiration and whether it comes to you or not.
Think of yourself instead as a skilled artisan. You are working with your mind and the tools you choose to create something out of nothing. You are a creator. You can strengthen your knowledge and skill everyday. You can develop your mind everyday and expose yourself to things and learning and art that inspire you.
Inspiration and art and creativity can grow and grow and grow.
It is up to you to nurture it. Put your whole heart into developing your creativity. And watch it bloom and grow to untold results.
